Whitsundays Tours

While Airlie Beach is a small, humble sailing and live music town, the day trip boats offer cutting edge technology in speed catamarans or the slower-paced, traditional tall sailing ships.

Start your day with pick up from your hotel or Air BnB. After check-in and a friendly briefing at the marina, your tour guide will take you to the boat, out of the marina and out to the Whitsunday Islands for the best day on the water ever!

The Whitsunday Island fast adventure begins with a one-hour trip towards the islands and reefs. Snorkelling stops and marine life including whales, dolphins and turtles, are aplenty! Capture the postcard Whitehaven Beach shot after a short hike up to Hill Inlet lookout.

The swirling silica sands of this 3km inlet must be seen to be believed. Whitehaven Beach sand has the highest content of silica, making it such a luxurious commodity for a body scrub down. Don’t be caught taking any back on board, the only people to ever be permitted to take sand from Whitehaven Beach were from NASA, who made it for the finest glass in the Hubble telescope!

If you only have one day in the Whitsundays and wish to be a witness (or a participant) to the traditional sailing in the Whitsundays, then jump on board the Derwent Hunter – Langford reef – new walkway completed in June 2018!
