Experience the beauty that is the Whitehaven Beach and Hamilton Island.
This full-day cruise departs Airlie Beach in the morning and heads to the stunning Hamilton Island, which is the largest inhabited island of the Whitsunday Islands.
Once there you can jump on the Hamilton Island shuttle bus and tour around the island.
There is a wide range of swimming pools, including the Main Pool with its swim-up bar or you can relax by the long sandy curve of Catseye Beach.
A highlight of Hamilton island is the island Wildlife Park which is home to some of Australia’s most unique wildlife. The park allows you to get an up-close look at the wildlife for a personalised experience.
Leave yourself time to wander the waterfront of Hamilton islands famous Front Street Marina Village taking in the breathtaking sights, visiting the galleries, shopping and then a delicious lunch at the Marine Tavern.
The second half of your day will start when you board the Whitehaven Beach vessel and cruise to the unbelievably stunning beach.
The cruise vessel has extensive seating areas both inside and out. Your knowledgeable skipper will provide an informative commentary on the history and facts of the natural world wonders area.
Whitehaven Beach
Once at Whitehaven beach, you can relax on the pristine white silica sand that stretches for over 7 km along the island as you gaze out at the crystal clear aqua water.
As you enjoy Mother Natures most incredible creation, you can breathe in the sea air and sip a wine or beer and marvel at the wonder of the Whitsundays.

6.45 am: Check-in at the Port of Airlie
7.15 am: Depart from the Port of Airlie
Spend the morning on Hamilton Island
Lunch at the Marina Tavern
Then, spend up to two hours at Whitehaven Beach
6.10 pm: Return to the Port of Airlie

*There is a cafe at Port of Airlie where you can grab breakfast before your early morning start. RETURN times are when the vessel arrives back at the mainland/island resort.
NOTE: Schedule changes may occur. Where a Day Cruise is cancelled, we will send a notification to the contact details provided at the time of your booking. The itinerary is subject to prevailing weather and sea conditions, including tides, wind, swell, sun and rain. The vessel’s Master must, at his discretion, determine the most appropriate course to ensure acceptable levels of safety and comfort for passengers, crew and other vessels. All tours from Port of Airlie will stop at Hamilton Island to drop off and collect guests.
Some tours will require a change in a vessel for connection to the Whitehaven Beach vessel.

A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to re-schedule or alter all or part of a reservation.
Any date change will incur a $30 administration fee.
We are required to notify the operator of any cancellations within the specified cancellation period. It is your responsibility to make sure you submit your cancellation request with adequate time, and during our standard business hours (9 am-5 pm), to allow us to contact the tour provider. All cancellation requests must be in writing and sent via email to: [email protected]. Any emails received outside of these hours will be considered received the following day.
Cancellation fees are as follows:
20% cancellation fee 48 hours or more before departure
100% cancellation fee within 48 hours before departure and for "No Show"
There will be no refund of any part of your tour costs should you fail to arrive at a scheduled tour departure time. Tour departures may not be delayed due to passenger circumstances - including events beyond your control, medical problems, airline delays, weather, etc.
All passengers are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation insurance, evacuation, and medical cover.
